Candidate Statement:

The Jackson County Democrats "joint is jumping" because the Democratic Party can make history in 2008. The issues the country cares about are perfectly in line with the Democratic agenda. Supporters for Obama have taken time out of their day to put up signs, call undecided voters, canvass in neighborhood after neighborhood, street after street; some have even traveled to other states in hopes of making a difference for Obama. They know first-hand that we need the leadership and vision of Senator Obama to fix the economy, withdraw our troops and fix healthcare.

Paulie Brading and Matt Sutton have teamed up in hopes of representing Obama supporters in the 2nd Congressional District. Matt founded Oregon South for Obama in March 2007 and through his leadership grew the group to become one of the largest and most active groups in the state. We would be humbled to be able to represent Senator Obama and his Oregon supporters as delegates to the convention. We would appreciate one of your votes for delegate so we can carry our fight to Denver to support Obama. Let's win and help Obama launch his general election campaign.
