I have spent most of my life in Democratic politics, and have served in a wide range of positions. I am presently on the Obama Oregon Steering Committee. I have cut back my workload in my "day job" as a lawyer for my working hard to get Democrats elected from the top to the bottom of the ticket. I am effective in getting our many constituency groups and interests to work together for progressive change. Obama is truly an inspiring leader, who can be transformational, but he and our state and country desperately need major progressive support at all levels to effectuate changes needed to rebuild our country. I want to be a DNC delegate because I believe that I can be effective in lobbying at the Convention other party leaders to assist us in Oregon in getting the resources we need here to build this success.
