Candidate Statement:

I believe we are on the threshold of a new political era of broad public involvement, but to make it sustainable, we need Democrats up and down the ticket to win their seats. As a Chinese American, if I am elected to represent Oregon at the Democratic National convention, I will network with other delegations to learn how to increase ethnic minority involvement in the DPO and the Obama campaign. Serving as a national delegate will also increase my effectiveness as a PCP and Neighbor-to-Neighbor leader recruiting friends and neighbors to become active members of the Democratic Party. As a mother, I feel a responsibility to make the world better for future generations by providing universal access to a quality public education and health care, a stable economy, and a healthy environment. I look forward to being a part of this historic time when President Obama and the Democratic Party restores integrity and honor to American politics and our standing in the international community.
