My Statement
For some twenty years I have worked on political campaigns to help elect progressive candidates to federal, state and local government positions. For the 2000 presidential campaign I volunteered on a daily basis in the office; delivered supplies, food and served as a motorcade driver. In the 2004 election season, I worked on voter registration activities; volunteered at numerous phone banks and delivered lawn signs. During this 2008 season, I have worked every day supporting Senator Obama’s campaign from the office located on 15th and Killingsworth. During this time, I did whatever was necessary to ensure that Obama won the primary and that he is in the best position to win in November.
I became active in the Democratic Party, because I envisioned that they would be an active supporters for making changes that would be of greatest value to families. I have encouraged the election of individuals and the development of legislation that would maintain the family structure; by supporting the development of family wage jobs, job training programs and affordable higher eduction, universal health care and sustainable retirement plans. I am proud to be a member of the best political party in this nation and I am fired up and ready to elect the next President of the United States--Barack Obama!

Please consider me as a selected delegate to the National Convention.
