U. S. House Speaker Tip O'Neill told the following story that goes like this--TO:I want to thank you for your vote. V:Oh, I didn't vote for you. TO: Why? V: you didn't ask.

I'm not going to make that mistake. I am asking for your vote for Delegate to the Democratic National Convention.

I have worked for Democrats since John Kennedy. I was a YD at OSU and worked in the Benton County CC, when I returned to Salem I joined the Marion County CC, and I have been either a delegate or alternate to the State Central Committee since 1968. I have been the precinct person in my precinct for 41 years. I will continue to help elect Democrats at all levels of government.

At Democratic Conventions I have learned that you do exactly what your candidate wants done. I will do what ever Senator Hillary Clinton asks me to do.

It is my belief that this county has to change and the only person with a plan,the knowledge and experience to pass it is Senator Hillary Clinton. I will support her until she tells me to do otherwise and I will respect her decision.
